Sweden is a kingdom, a Nordic country on the Scandinavian Peninsula in Northern Europe. Sweden has borders with Norway to the west and Finland to the northeast, and is connected to Denmark by the Oresund Bridge in the south of the country. It is the third largest country in Europe by area, and has a population of around 9 million, and a low population density, though 85% live in urban areas.
Swedens largest city is Stockholm, the capital. About 15% of Sweden lies north of the Artic Circle, and though southern Sweden in mainly agriculture, there is increasing forest northward. Most of the country has a temperate climate despite its northern latitude, with four distinct seasons and mild temperatures throughout the year. except in the north where there are colder and snowier winters.
