General Description: Nordkalotten hotell is built from thousand year old kelo wood, with the eight corners symbolising the eight seasons of the sami year. The hotel is built upon elderly reindeer pasture and traces of elderly sami settlements are to be found in the area. The large open fireplace in the eatery åtta årstider (eight seasons) weighs 17 tonnes and is made of shale from finland. The floor is made of immense pine and is 4 centimetres thick. We are located between city and uncomplicated ambience, south west of luleå and close to luleå airport. Being so close to the uncomplicated ambience, the city centre, and luleå airport you will not miss anything. Rooms for disabled guests are obtainable upon request. The hotel offers effortless access to the hotel entrance and public areas.
