As one of the best hotels in nykoping, the kompaniet is a choice stop between skavsta airport and stockholm and a very pleasing, well facilitated and nicely designed hotel as a base from which to explore nykoping and the surrounding area. (11/06 lc) built in the 1980?'s, this hotel was designed to blend in with local architecture and happens to be on the of the most appealing buildings in the area. Resembling a castle in reddish brick, set against parkland and water the kompaniet is a very pleasing place to stay. Overlooking the mouth of the river and harbour the kompaniet is less than a ten-minute snappy walk to the centre of nykoping. Skavsta airport is approximately 7 kilometres away and depending on traffic is a ten to fifteen minute drive. The location benefits from one of the most scenic in the town and also from the peace and relaxing of being just off centre.
