General Description: A ultramodern hotel in centremost gothenburg, the spar hotel majorna is located 500 meters from the ferry terminal to germany. Götaplatsen and the centremost of town are three kilometers from the hotel. The 150 guestrooms are decorated in shining colors with wood floors and are furnished with pastel colored furniture and patterned fabrics. Bathrooms are tiled. All rooms are equipped with cable television offering pay movies, direct dial telephones and separate sitting areas with desks. Guests can catch up with e- mail using the lofty speed internet access in the lobby. Each morning a buffet breakfast is offered and snacks and drinks are served in the bar. In fine weather the roof terrace is open. Guests can park in the onsite parking garage and the front desk is open 24 hours. For visitors arriving by plane, gothenburg airport is 30 kilometers away and is connected to the city center by bus services and taxis. Please note: the hotel will be undergoing renovations throughout 2008. Location Description: This hotel has good rooms and a great ambience making it an ideal base for exploring gothenburg. It has also received a partial renovation in sure areas during 2005 bringing the standard up across the intact hotel, including the introduction of exercise bikes and a sauna room.
