This original town hotel boasts northern europes largest fresco in the banquet room, which is named after swedish artist gunnar theander. The theander room also exhibits 6 unique chandeliers, designed especially for this space by simon gate in 1930. Many of the versatile guest rooms at stora hotellet are well-suited for families, with either connecting doors or sofa beds. Some rooms also offer balconies. Stora hotellets in-house eatery is located on the ground floor. It is open every day of the week and serves both à la carte and bistro menus.
