Scenically overlooking lake volg and mount blaikfjäll, hotell wilhelmina is a cosy hotel offering a restful stay amidst the wild beauty of västerbotten, in swedish lapland.
The hotel's new open-air café provides lovely, unspoiled views of lake volg, and lucky guests may get to experience the showy northern lights in the sky above.
The wilhelmina's own eatery has produced award-winning cuisine and the menu includes specific delicacies of lapland such as moose, reindeer, mountain char and grouse.
Numerous outdoor activities are on offer in the district, including salmon and trout fishing on the vojmå river; ice fishing; snowmobile safaris; and hunting packages on the hotel's own grounds.
Alternatively, guests may choose to rest themselves in the spa and relaxation centre, which includes sauna and massage facilities.
Hotell wilhelmina is located close to an authentic sami (laplander) settlement, where visitors can purchase conventional art and handicrafts while also learning about the local culture.
