General Description: Hotel vikingen, the viking is a combined eatery and hotel and has been operating since 1992 as a family owned inn. We are located only a few hundred meters from the town centre where you can enjoy the view of the kalix river. We are situated on the most northern shores of the gulf of bothnia and not far from the finnish border. The polar circle is about 75km to the north. Our seven guest rooms are cosy and have modern amenities. All have en-suite facilities. Our well-known eatery is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner serving local and regional specialities. We can seat up to 60 guests. The eatery is also the reception of the hotel. Our continental buffet breakfast is served daily in the restaurant. Smoking is not permitted in the rooms or the restaurant. For relaxation, a very small lounge is equipped with books and magazines close to the guest rooms. We are convinced that you will enjoy yourself and appreciate our amiable service. 3 star small family owned hotel with cost, modern fitted rooms and en-suite facilities.
